Private urban house
The investors did not want a traditional house, nor one that is overly modern. They are drawn to the industrial style, which is evident in their current apartment, but for their future interior, they desired something different - warmer and more suited to family life. The design of this house was conceived with that balance in mind - a blend of industrial charm and functional aesthetics, while also harmonizing with the existing urban context of this part of Zemun and the street itself. The combination of materials used in the construction gives the building a unique character - concrete was used as the foundation, paired with steel for structural elements, while the facade is adorned with brick tiles, metal roofing, and wood, which bring warmth and natural tones. This harmony of materials and design creates a contemporary ambiance that respects the spirit of the industrial style but gently evolves it into a more inviting and harmonious space.
